Namungo FC vs Yanga

Yanga has moved closer to clinching the league title for the fourth consecutive season after defeating Namungo FC 3-0 in a match held at KMC Complex.

The game started slowly for Yanga, but they took the lead in the 26th minute when Stephane Aziz Ki scored from a well-placed pass by Maxi Nzengeli.

Just four minutes later, Prince Dube doubled the lead by finishing a low cross from Kibwana Shomari.

Yanga went into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 advantage.

In the second half, they returned with even more intensity, and if it weren't for goalkeeper Jonathan Nahimana, Namungo could have faced an even heavier defeat.

The third goal came from Maxi Nzengeli, who capped off a "strong performance " by scoring from a cross delivered by Israel Mwenda, who had come on as a substitute.

This victory earned Yanga three crucial points, bringing their total to 73 in the standings, with only two matches left to conclude the season next month.
