The head coach of the Tanzania national football team, 'Taifa Stars', Hemed Morocco has stated that his squad is meticulously prepared for the quarter-final match against Morocco.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam today, Hemed Morocco mentioned that the Stars have addressed the challenges faced in previous matches, and the players are now mentally, physically, and technically strong.
"We have closely analyzed Morocco through their games and made necessary adjustments on the field. It is tough to play against them if you haven't followed their play. However, with the experienced and mature players we have, we have corrected our flaws and are ready to fight," he said.
The coach further added that Morocco is a team of high status and quality in Africa, but the Stars will enter the match with respect and a fighting spirit to achieve positive results.
"Morocco is a good team, and we will approach them with respect, and I believe they respect us too. It will be a unique match, and we are prepared to perform well to bring joy to Tanzania," Morocco emphasized.
On his part, veteran defender Shomari Kapombe stated that all players are 100% ready to ensure Taifa Stars performs well.
"We know our opponent is strong, and that gives us motivation and a challenge to push ourselves further. This will be a different match, and we will give our all to achieve good results," Kapombe said.
