Mixx and TCCIA Join Forces to Propel Digital Payment Advancements in Tanzania

The financial service company, Mixx, has entered into a partnership agreement with the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) along with Yas Business, aiming to enhance modern payment systems and boost financial inclusion across the country.

This initiative seeks to connect entrepreneurs, farmers, women, and youth within the rapidly growing digital economy.

"Various challenges, particularly in accessing capital, accurate market information, and modern financial services, will be addressed.

"The private sector, along with technology innovators like Mixx and Yas Business, plays a crucial role in the journey towards a middle-income economy and ultimately a high-income one.

This collaboration aims to open doors for our members to access superior financial and communication services, enabling them to compete effectively not only in the local market but also in regional and international markets," stated Mr. Kissanga.

The agreement focuses on three key areas intended to bring about transformation in the business environment of the country, which are:

Strengthening digital payment systems for TCCIA members through innovative services from Mixx, to enhance efficiency, transparency, and security of financial transactions.

Providing modern internet and communication services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through Yas Business, aimed at improving operational efficiency and timely access to information.

Investing in financial education and digital skills for youth and women, empowering them to fully participate in the modern technology-driven economy.

Through this partnership, these institutions expect to accelerate the growth of competitive businesses, expand the scope of financial inclusion, and establish a solid foundation for an inclusive, sustainable economy that thrives in both present and future Tanzania.
