‎The dividend cheque was presented to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, at the State House in Dar es Salaam. This payment stems from the government's 49% ownership stake in Airtel Tanzania PLC.

‎With this consistent payment, Airtel Tanzania remains the only private telecommunications company in the country to have paid dividends to the government every year since 2019.
