The device is thin, lightweight, and easy to keep attached to the back of my phone, but what really stands out is how simple it is to use. When I need to record a meeting or phone call, I can start recording in seconds and let PLAUD handle the rest.
The phone-call recording works surprisingly well. It can clearly capture both sides of the conversation without requiring speakerphone, and the transcription and AI summaries make it much easier to go back and find important details, decisions, and action items.
I also appreciate that it isn't constantly recording. It stays ready in a low-power standby state, and I only record when I intentionally start it. Battery life has been excellent, and the display makes it easy to confirm that a recording is actually in progress.
