The president of the United Republic of Tanzania ,Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan has participated in the first international meeting held in Paris .
The meeting was organized by the energy organization (IEA) held on may 12, 2024 with the aim of discussing the use of clean cooking energy that will empower Tanzanians by eighty percent by 2034.
" In my speech , I have explained the mission of our country to implement the 10_year of national strategy for clean cooking energy that we recently launched with the aim of ensuring that 80% of Tanzanians use clean energy by 2034 . Also , I have increased my voice to the international community and stakeholders in this sector to increase their political and financial strength and make 2024 the year of clean energy ," said Samia .
He also went on to say that the change to bring about the use of clean cooking energy is a big step in the development of our people and will reflect the steps we are taking economically and in the liberation of women as this is one of the biggest challenges for them .
