American singer Chris Brown was arrested early Thursday morning at a hotel in Manchester, following allegations of assaulting a music producer at a London nightclub two years prior.
The 36-year-old artist was apprehended by Metropolitan Police at The Lowry Hotel in Salford, shortly after arriving in the city via private jet.
He faces charges of grievous bodily harm related to an incident that occurred on February 19, 2023, at a venue in ' Hanover Square'
Producer Abraham Diaw has accused Brown of striking him multiple times, leading to a civil claim for $16 million in damages.
Despite these legal troubles, Brown is set to begin his Breezy Bowl XX tour next month, with a performance scheduled at Co-op Live in Manchester.
This incident adds to Brown's controversial history, which includes a felony assault conviction involving his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009.
