How Namungo FC plans to challenge Yanga SC

The  first-round match in the Premier League, where they faced Yanga SC on November 30, 2024, with a score of 0-2, Namungo FC has announced their intention to approach their next game with a different strategy to secure 'positive ' results. 

On May 13, 2025, they are set to compete at the KMC Complex under the guidance of Head Coach Juma Mgunda, following a final training session on May 12, 2025, in preparation for the match against Yanga SC.

Namungo's assistant coach, Ngawina Ngawina, expressed respect for their opponents, acknowledging Yanga SC's strong team and talented players, and emphasized the need for caution in their approach to achieve favorable outcomes. 

He added  that their preparation time has been beneficial, and they are confident in their ability to perform well against Yanga SC, recognizing the importance of adapting their tactics based on the opponent.

Currently, Namungo FC sits in 10th place in the standings, having played 27 matches with 8 wins, 7 draws, and 12 losses, totaling 31 points and scoring 23 goals. 

In contrast, Yanga SC leads the league with 70 points from 26 matches, having scored 68 goals.
