Defending champions of the Tanzania Premier League, Yanga SC, under the guidance of head coach Miloud Hamdi, are demonstrating impressive form in the 2024/25 season, particularly in their goal-scoring capabilities.
After 26 matches, their attacking line, led by Clement Mzize, has netted a remarkable total of 68 goals, with Mzize contributing 13 of those, making him the highest-scoring local player in the league.
Also, out of the 68 goals scored, only five have come from penalties, with Aziz Ki converting four of those while missing two, and Pacome scoring one penalty in a match against Kagera Sugar at KMC Complex.
Yanga SC's statistics reveal that they have been particularly lethal within the penalty area, scoring 55 goals from that zone, while managing 13 goals from outside it.
Currently, they sit atop the league table with 70 points, and their next match is scheduled against Namungo FC on May 13 at KMC Complex.
