This was stated by the Minister responsible for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabiti Kombo, during his address to the diplomats at a meeting followed by a tour named 'Diplomatic Capital City Tour' May 27, 2025, at the Sephil Sapphire Hall in the city.

"Dodoma offers numerous business and investment opportunities due to its sufficient land with water access or the potential for drilling wells, tourism, hotels, and the demand is extremely high. Areas that may seem distant from the city will soon not appear so, as the need for housing and hotels is significantly large, so seize this opportunity."

Additionally, the Deputy Minister of TAMISEMI, Hon. Zainab Katimba, stated that the government has invested over 5.1 trillion shillings in education improvement over the past four years, resulting in the construction of approximately 1,399 primary schools and 1,044 secondary schools, along with the building of dormitories, laboratories, and teachers' houses.

However, the Regional Commissioner of Dodoma discussed the strategic projects being implemented in the region, which enhance its status as the national capital and serve as a catalyst for attracting foreign investors.

"The government has invested in major projects, including the construction of the Mtumba Government City, the development of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), the construction of the outer ring road, the Msalato International Airport, irrigation infrastructure, and a power substation from the Mwalimu Nyerere Dam, with all projects costing over 10 trillion shillings."

Speaking after the event, the Chinese Ambassador to Tanzania, Dr. Lu Youqing, stated that his country supports Tanzania's development and has encouraged companies from China to visit Dodoma and bring their business activities here to achieve mutual economic growth.
