The artist from Tanzania, known for his Reggae and Dancehall music, Bayothegreat, has won an International Tourism Award at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa Awards, which took place in South Africa.
Through this award, Bayo has outperformed fellow participants from various countries around the world, including artists from Zambia, Jordan, Slovenia, and South Africa.
Bayothegreat was competing for the award in the "Tourism Destinations" category with his song 'TanzaniaUnforgettable' where he faced off against several other entries, including: 1- Exploring Africa's Emptiest County 2- Discover Beautiful Botswana 3- Happy Passports 4- Meet South Africa: Adriana Morais 5- Slovenia. It's all in our nature. 6- Tanzania Unforgettable (Bayo) 7- Visit Jordan: Through Our Eyes 8- Zambia - Africa's Best Kept Secret.
In addition to the award ceremony, artist Bayo also had the opportunity to present a special gift from the Tanzania Tourism Board to Ms. Caroline Ungersbock, who is the Festival Director of the awards.
