‎The Bongofleva artist, Abigail Chams, began learning to play the piano at the tender age of five. By the time she turned eight, she had also mastered the violin, guitar, drums, and flute. She officially launched her music career by sharing her work on her social media platforms, and gradually, the Bongofleva scene embraced her.

‎Among her early works that started to gain her fans across various online stages are titles like Never Enough, I Thought, I’M Yours, Zero to 100, Real One, Reimagine, and more.

‎Following the release of her song, Reimagine (2020), Abigail Chams earned the opportunity to collaborate with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Tanzania as their ambassador.

‎It took a decade before another female Bongo artist, Abigail Chams, signed with Sony Music in June 2022. Notably, in February 2012, gospel music star Rose Muhando signed with Sony and subsequently released her hit, Wololo (2013).

‎In total, other artists featured on that album include Marioo, Country Wizzy, Jay Melody, Mr. II Sugu, D Voice, and Micky Singer. Additionally, there are contributions from Dutchavelli (UK), Khaligraph Jones (Kenya), and Jay Rox (Zambia).

‎Her song, Mee Too (2025), a collaboration with Harmonize from Konde Music Worldwide, is the only track from Tanzania that has been streamed the most on Spotify this year so far.

‎The video directed by Kenny has already garnered over 19 million views on YouTube, just five months after its release, making it the first video from Tanzania this year to reach such impressive numbers in a short time.

‎So far, Harmonize is the artist with whom Abigail Chams has collaborated most frequently, producing songs like Closer (2022), Leave Me Alone (2022), Me Too (2025), and Lala (2025), which will feature on Harmonize's upcoming album.

‎In summary, they are chasing the record held by Mwana FA and Lady Jaydee, who have released hits such as Sitoamka (2002), Wanaume kama Mabinti (2003), Alikufa kwa Ngoma (2004), Hawajui (2005), Msiache Kuongea (2009), among others.

‎Additionally, Abigail Chams appeared in Harmonize's music video for Furaha (2025), but she is not the first female artist from Bongo to do so with Harmonize, a four-time winner of the African Entertainment Awards USA.

‎Mimi Mars featured in Harmonize's video 'Mpaka Kesho' from his debut album, Afro East (2020). Similarly, Feza Kessy appeared in the video 'Wote' from his third album, Made For Us (2022).Abigail Chams is a very talented musician and that her song has attracted large number of international fans worldwide .
