Elon Musk’s estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, has shared insights about her finances after starting her modeling career earlier this year.

“I’m financially independent,” the 21-year-old disclosed at the Teen Vogue 2025 Summit in Los Angeles on Saturday. “I’m earning money now. Before the Teen Vogue [cover], no. People have many assumptions, and you just kind of have to manage that.”

Wilson, who graced the March cover of Teen Vogue, reflected on her career path and clarified misunderstandings regarding her financial status.

“I haven’t earned any money from being famous at all,” she told the outlet. “I have made zero dollars and zero cents. However, I do occupy a lot of people’s thoughts without charge.”

Initially, Wilson aspired to be a model, but she confessed that she once thought about streaming on Twitch before ultimately aiming for reality TV. “It would be my absolute dream to be on a reality show,” she expressed.

Earlier this month, she also discussed her financial circumstances in an interview with The Cut. “People think I have a lot of money,” she clarified, adding that she shares an apartment with several roommates to save costs.

“I don’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars at my disposal. My mom is wealthy, right? But, of course, the other one is unimaginably rich,” she remarked, referring to her father. Wilson stressed that she has no ambition to be “super-rich” like Musk, although she acknowledges that she is “much more fortunate than most people  my  in Los Angeles.”

The social media personality made her runway debut in May at a RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 10 event in New York City, where she captivated the audience with her performance. The following month, it was announced that she would be featured in Pattie Gonia’s Save Her! drag show in Los Angeles.Expressing her enthusiasm on Instagram at that time, Wilson wrote: “AHHHH I’m so excited,” while celebrating her first drag performance.
