| Majaliwa Unveils Cutting-Edge Mining Technology in Geita . |
PRIME MINISTER Kassim Majaliwa today, September 22, 2025, inaugurated the eighth mineral technology exhibition for the year 2025, held at the Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan grounds in Geita.
This Mineral Technology Exhibition, which began in 2018, aims to strengthen the mining sector in the country and to ensure that mineral resources benefit all Tanzanians.
The exhibition has become a dedicated platform for the government, private sector, large and small miners, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and various development stakeholders to meet, discuss, and exchange experiences.
The theme for this year's 2025 Mineral Technology Exhibition is: "The Growth of the Mining Sector is a Result of the Use of Appropriate Technology and Good Leadership/Participate in the General Elections in October 2025."
Additionally, the exhibition serves as a crucial means to promote and enhance the mining sector, acting as a vital catalyst for creating jobs for the youth.
"The presence of mineral technology will help and improve the strength in this mining sector; the government continues to enhance efforts and introduce new technologies as a key catalyst for our development," said Kassim Majaliwa.
"Youth, let us seize this important opportunity to become self-employed, as the presence of this new mineral technology is a strong catalyst in strengthening our mining sector," he added.
The Tanzanian government has implemented a robust system for utilizing technology across all sectors to achieve significant efficiency that will help realize the National Vision by 2050.
