The Tanzanian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, residing in Berlin, Germany, Hon. Hassani Iddi Mwamweta, has signed an agreement with the Honorary Representative of Tanzania in the Czech Republic, Mr. Roman Glorig, to officially renew his honorary representation.

Ambassador Mwamweta signed this agreement on September 2, 2025, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP).

The signing of this agreement with Mr. Glorig, who owns the aircraft manufacturing company Airpalane Africa Limited located in Morogoro, exemplifies the genuine commitment of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania to strengthen and expand diplomatic cooperation between Tanzania and the Czech Republic.

This initiative aims not only to maintain the existing friendship but also to stimulate new collaborations in vital sectors including health, education, trade, investment, and tourism.

Through this partnership, the Government has high hopes of witnessing an increase in skill exchange between the citizens of these two nations, enhanced strategies for promoting Tanzanian products and tourist attractions, attracting investors from the Czech Republic, as well as supporting various initiatives aimed at improving community welfare and contributing to sustainable development.

This step also serves as evidence of Tanzania's ongoing efforts to enhance its international standing while seeking new opportunities for collaboration with development partners to benefit the nation and its people.
