Fountain Gate is set to face Simba SC today, April 15, 2025, at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium, as these two " powerhouses" vie for three crucial points.
Aboubakar Ally, the coach of Fountain Gate, has stated that they recently played a match in the CRDB Federation Cup against Azam FC, and they are now prepared to take on their rivals.
"We have been gearing up for our match against Simba SC; we’ve had time to discuss strategies because we need to further develop our players ahead of this highly competitive game.
"Every player understands the caliber of the opponent we are facing, so we are ready to confront our rivals, and we will employ all tactics necessary to secure a positive result, especially by capitalizing on the opportunities we create," he said.
Steve Barker, the head coach of Simba SC, acknowledged that the match will be challenging, but they are prepared to secure those vital three points.
"We recognize the type of opposition we will encounter, but we have made solid preparations, and our goal is to ensure we come away with three important points," he remarked.
In the standings, Fountain Gate is currently in 14th place with 16 points after 17 matches, while they face Simba SC, who is in second place with 36 points, also after 17 matches.
