The Young Africans SC club has taken significant steps to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season by officially announcing the signing of two players from Mashujaa FC of Kigoma.
Yanga has completed the acquisition of striker Hussein Mihambo, who joins the Tanzanian champions with the aim of bolstering their attacking line following the departure of striker Prince Mpumelelo Dube.
In addition, the club has also introduced right-back Abdulnassir Assa ‘Gamal’, who has signed a two-year contract after moving from Mashujaa FC.
Besides playing as a right-back, Gamal is also capable of functioning as a right winger, providing the coach with more options due to his versatility and skill in various positions.
The signings of Mihambo and Gamal reflect Yanga's commitment to assembling a highly competitive team for both domestic and international competitions in the 2026/27 season.
