Tanzanian fans are preparing a grand welcome for Miss Grand International 2026 Jihan Dimack at JNIA Terminal 3, plus a Dar Village celebration.

Beauty fans in Tanzania have shown great enthusiasm for the arrival of Jihan Dimack, winner of the Miss Grand International 2026 title, as preparations to welcome her continue to attract public and social media attention.

Jihan is expected to arrive in the country through Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA), Terminal 3, in Dar es Salaam, where fans have expressed excitement about welcoming her joyfully following her success in the international beauty pageant.

Through her Instagram page, Jihan posted a message signaling her return home, saying, “TANZANIAAAAAAAA, I’m coming home,” meaning she is returning home to Tanzania.

She also thanked the people of Thailand for the love and cooperation she received from day one, as well as the media outlets that gave her space to publicize her competition journey.

In her message, Jihan said she values the love shown to her and expressed that she looks forward to returning to Thailand in the future.

Among those who welcomed her with congratulatory messages was Jokate Mwegelo, who wrote, “Welcome home our mega star.”

Fan comments on social media continue to show joy and pride, with many calling her their queen and congratulating her on the achievement. Some wrote, “Welcome very much, our queen,” while others said they are waiting eagerly for her.

Meanwhile, businesswoman Jennifer Jovin ‘Niffer’ has urged Tanzanians to turn out in large numbers to welcome Jihan, and an entertainment event is expected to be held today at the Dar Village venue after the reception. The reception for Jihan will culminate at Dar Village Mall.

The popularity of Miss Grand International 2026 has also been visible on social media, after organizers announced that the pageant gathered a total of more than 2.33 billion viewers across various platforms between September 18 and October 16, 2026.

According to figures placed on the pageant’s official banner, Instagram led with 1.4 billion viewers, followed by TikTok with 581.7 million, Facebook with 334 million, and YouTube with 22.5 million.

The figures show the scale of the pageant’s response on digital platforms and the role of social media in bringing beauty pageant content to an international audience.
