Simba SC has issued an official statement following the departure of its former football player, Mohamed Hussein, known as "Tshabalala."
The statement clarified that the decision was made with due consideration for the time frame, respect, and the club's future plan .
Ahmed Ally, the club's Head of Information and Communications, emphasized that Tshabalala's departure is part of a normal transition process in football, and that no party has been affected by the decision.
"We have every reason to be pleased with the fair decisions we have made regarding our beloved player, Mohamed Hussein. We love him, we respect him, and that will never change—forever," Ahmed said.
According to Ahmed, the club took into account technical issues and the team's current needs, while also considering the experience of previous years where a player whose contract had expired was extended out of respect, but was unable to fully contribute on the pitch due to injuries and a lack of playing time.
"This time, we decided to be honest with Simba and the player. Tshabalala has been a very important player for us, but it was the right time to part ways with respect. We have all benefited," he added.
Furthermore, the club called on its supporters to remain calm and support the team, while clarifying that preparations to sign another top-level player have already begun.
"Let us not fall into despair because Tshabalala joined a rival club. Others have gone before him and nothing extraordinary happened. The important thing is to ensure that we continue to build for a better Simba tomorrow," he added.
