The retired president of the second phase of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mzee Ali Hassan Mwinyi has been taken to the hospital suffering from chest disease and continues to receive treatment under the close supervision of doctors .
The spokesperson of Mzee Mwinyi's family, Abdullah Ali Mwinyi has said that due to the advice of his doctors , the family has found it good for him to have privacy while receiving treatment, so the family is asking the community to remember him in prayer and supplications .
" We ask the almighty God to grant us a quick intercession for our Elder along with all other patients facing various disease " said the family statement .
