On the other hand, in the African Confederation Cup (CAFCC), Singida Black Stars demonstrated their strength by winning 1-0 against Rwanda's Rayon Sports. The winning goal was netted by Serge Tchakei in the 23rd minute, putting Singida in a good position to advance.
This victory comes just days after Tanzania's champions, Yanga SC, defeated Angola's Williete SC in the first match of the African Champions League, while Azam FC also secured a 2-0 win against South Sudan's El Merriekh Bentiu in the CAFCC.
